Elite Powerboat Enclosure Workshop (3 days)
Students must be experienced and knowledgeable Fabricators for this course. This course is designed for a fabricator looking to enhance their skills. Our students will learn our detailed, “Flawless One Step Patterning System”. We are the only certified marine canvas training facility that teaches this technique. This technique gives the fabricator confidence in only being on a boat twice; once to pattern and once to install. No fittings required or improper fitting panels.
In this full comprehensive class students will pattern, layout and fabricate a full enclosure consisting of a 3 bow bimini top fabricated of Sunbrella Fabric and an enclosure fabricated with Strataglass. This workshop will give you the confidence required to take your business to the next level.
Advanced Techniques Workshop (1 Day)
This advanced workshop will focus on several different advanced problematic techniques that when done properly defines the amateurs from the professional. Our philosophy in fabrication is the inside of the boat should look just as ascetically pleasing as the outside, therefore our fabrication process does not allow for raw edges or raw zipper exposure. Here, our students will learn the technique of U-Shaped windows, U-Shape with screens, U-Shape with custom rain flap, all detailed in finished edged and finished zippers.
We will cover how to determine and fabricate a properly contoured Keder Welt Track Band for forward and reverse arches which attach to a bimini camper back, a bimini slant back or a bimini drop down enclosure. All of which require a proper concave or convex curve for a watertight, custom fit.
Traditional Dodger Workshop (3 days)
